ISGR/IHGR and the IB

We are an IB (International Baccalaureate) World School.  There are currently 2,758 IB World Schools in 138 countries educating approximately 761,000 students.  Of those 2,578 schools worldwide, only 136 of them offer all three IB programmes, The Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programme.  ISGR/IHGR is one of the 136.

High Quality Education

The International Baccalaureate is proud of its reputation for high quality education over the last 35 years and ISGR is proud to be authorised as an IB World School.  To maintain our standard of education we aim to employ highly qualified teachers preferably with IB experience.  We actively train our teachers in the IB either sending them on courses or engaging IB trainers in our school.  Support from the IB organisation helps us to continue to develop and become better in the service we provide.

Commitment to Excellence

ISGR has a commitment to continued development and excellence.  In addition to being an IB World School we are also accredited by the Council of International schools.  In fact ISGR is unique in Sweden as we are the first school in Sweden to receive the CIS accreditation for both our International and National Sections.  WE are currently engaged in the process of seeking additional grades accreditation for our High School.

Number of students

At ISGR/IHGR we have approximately 1200 students based on two campuses, Guldheden and Götaberg.

Class Sizes

In PYP our class size is around 20 students.

In MYP our class sizes currently range from 18 – 26 students.
